How much dinner?

We were "collected" (there's another one!) for dinner promptly at 8 pm for dinner by Anna of Mas del Joncar, It was just a short drive, and we'll be walking by there on Sunday morning.

It was just the two of us dining in a library/reading room. There were other guests (some German) in the actual dining room. When we got to the table, there was a basket of sliced bread, a platter of tomatoes, tuna, and olives drizzled with olive oil, and a platter of small fried cakes that supposedly had cod in them. There was also a pitcher of water and one of wine on the table. We helped ourselves several ties each to everything...and then the chef came from the kitchen and asked if we were ready for our main course. Burp.

The main course was a delicately flavored fish which he called rubina (he gave us the Catalan name too but I didn't catch it and had nothing to write with and didn't want to touch my iPhone with fishy hands). The fish was cooked with garlic, lemon peel, tomatoes, and potatoes. Dessert was a timbale of fruit (pears?) on flatbread (like we had our vegetable on at Vinoteca Torres) with ice cream on the side.

By the way, we saw a couple of the wines we had at Vinoteca Torres at the grocery store where we bought our water and lunch on Sagturday morning.

Now it's time to get ready for breakfast so we can be out of here by 9 am. Walking in the middle of the day is hot, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get started much earlier given the fact that dinners and breakfasts start so late. I wouldn't mind if I could be taking a siesta instead of walking at the height of the heat.
